인트라게임즈(대표 배상찬)는 유럽 지역의 퍼블리셔인 빅벤 인터랙티브(Alain Falc, CEO)와 협력하여 PS4용 레이싱 게임 “월드 랠리 챔피언십7의 한국어판을 2017년 연말에 발매한다고 밝혔다.

“월드 랠리 챔피언십7(이하 ‘WRC7’)”은 2017 FIA World Rally Championship의 공식 비디오 게임이며, PlayStaiton®4 기기에서 정식 한국어판을 발매할 예정이다. 지난 2년간 100만장 이상의 누적 판매를 기록한 WRC의 개발사 ‘Kylotonn’은 더욱 짜릿하고 사실적인 레이싱 게임을 개발하기 위해 그간의 기술력을 집대성시켰다.

올해부터는 월드 랠리 챔피언십의 규칙이 바뀌었기 때문에 경쟁은 더욱 강렬하고 공격적으로 변화할 것이다. 예상을 뛰어넘는 공력 특성과 향상된 핸들링으로 인해 극적인 경기들이 연출될 것으로 보이며, 지금까지 느껴본 적이 없는 사실적인 드라이빙을 경험할 수 있을 것이다.

플레이어는 “WRC7”에서 Sebastien Ogier(Ford Fiesta WRC), Kris Meeke(Citroen C3 WRC), Jari-Matti Latvala(Toyota Yaris WRC)와 같은 유명한 드라이버들과 자신이 원하는 차량을 타고 질주하는 짜릿함을 맛보게 될 것이다. 또한, 현대 i20 쿠페 WRC는 로드카의 380hp 버전으로, 4초만에 60mph의 속도를 낼 수 있고, 현대 모터스포츠 팀이 데뷔한 이래로 공개된 세 번째 차량이다. 빅벤 인터랙티브는 ‘The Beauty and the Beast’ 트레일러를 통해 현대 i20 쿠페가 게임 내의 트랙을 달리는 모습을 공개했다.
